Basic Network Fax Driver Setup instructions for a NS-30
|
|
1. (This step is only needed if running
windows 95, 98 or ME)
Install KM-net Kprint (you will need the scanner IP address to
input when prompted). Follow the on-screen instructions. |

2.
Install the network Fax driver which is on the
Digital Library
CD that was delivered with you machine. (ensure you select your
model MFP from the list). Follow the on-screen instructions. |

3.
Once the Network Fax driver has been installed you need to go
into the fax properties and set up your defaults. |
|
|
|
|
a) Go into your Printer and Fax folder. |
|
|
b) Right click on the Network Fax you just installed and then
click on Properties. |
|
|
c) Click on Printing Preferences
and then Fax TX setting. |
|
|
d) If you would like a Cover Page click
Attach Cover Page. |
|
|
e) If you would like, you can edit the message on the cover page
by clicking the Edit Message
button. |
|
|
|
|
f) Use the drop down arrow to choose which cover page template
you would like and you can use the Preview
button to see what each template looks like. |
|
|
|
|
g) Click the Sender Information
tab and fill in the appropriate information. |
|
|
h) Click the Machine Settings
tab and input the scanner NIC IP address. |
|
|
i) Click the OK
buttons to close all open dialog boxes. |
|
|
|
|
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Test the setup by opening a document and choose
File then
Print. Next
choose the Network Fax you just installed from the list of
Printers and Faxes. Click OK
then type in a fax number to send your fax to and click
Send. Your fax
should be sent. |

|

* These instructions are for setup of Network faxing for sending
faxes from a PC. Setting up Network Faxing for reception has additional
