Innovative HyPAS-enabled Tool Brings Wireless Capabilities to Scanning

 

FAIRFIELD, N.J. – October 19, 2009 - Kyocera Mita America, Inc., one of the world's leading document solutions companies, today announced the launch of Capture2go, a free document capture application that utilizes Kyocera’s HyPAS (Hybrid Platform for Advanced Solutions) technology and is available via the Apple AppStore on iTunes for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Kyocera’s Capture2go program allows end-users to seamlessly scan documents on the Kyocera TASKalfa 500ci series of multifunctional products (MFPs) for review and distribution on the iPhone. In addition, once scanned into the iPhone, Capture2go allows the user to email or print the document on any authorized Kyocera networked printer for increased flexibility and mobility within the enterprise.

This section of our website is to help you correct miner issues with your machine and do some basic setup of some of your machine features.

 

Self-diagnostic function
 

Kyocera Mita Machines are equipped with a self-diagnostic function. When they detect a problem with themselves, they disable printing and display the problem as a code consisting of letters and/or numbers, indicating the nature of the problem. A message, "Call for service" is also displayed on machines with a LCD display. After recording the error code that is in the display, the self-diagnostic function maybe able to be reset by opening and closing the front cover or by turning the machine on and off. If unable to reset the error after trying both of the previously mentioned ways call us to place a service call (518 793-7761) or place one On-line.
